The control layer for every bag case — from your system to the passenger's hand.
- Increase ancillary revenue — Through home check-in, Land & Leave and related baggage services sold in your booking flow and fulfilled by the network.
- Reduce cost and increase efficiency — In mishandled baggage and lost item resolution: allocation on performance, no manual coordination, SLA enforced.
Every model is already built. Which ones to activate is your call as an airline.

Four products, one control layer
Each product is a complete technology solution for that baggage case: intake from your systems, workflow, providers, custody, passenger communication, proof, SLA and invoice.
- 01
Mishandled and delayed baggage
A bag did not arrive with its passenger. HalaBag is your technology for what happens next: it takes the case from WorldTracer, finds the best provider, keeps the passenger informed, proves the delivery and closes the cost.

Left-behind baggage
A bag missed the flight. HalaBag is your technology for getting it to the passenger: it plans the next uplift, tracks the bag across stations, delivers it with proof and tells the passenger at every step.
Show more - 03
Home check-in
Your passenger books it, our network collects the bag from their door, it is screened and accepted as a checked bag in your system, and it meets them at the belt. HalaBag is your technology for selling it, running it and getting paid for it.
Show more - 04
Land & Leave
Your passenger lands and walks out without waiting at the belt. Our network takes the bag from arrival to their hotel or home, with proof. HalaBag is your technology for selling it, allocating it, tracking it and invoicing it.
HalaBag takes a mishandled-bag, left-behind or off-airport case from the systems you already run, applies your workflow, allocates it to handlers and 3PLs, keeps custody and passenger communication, captures proof and closes the cost. SITA WorldTracer stays your source system. HalaBag controls what happens next.

AHL and OHD recovery and delivery, governed end to end
The core product. A delayed, misrouted or on-hand bag becomes a case the moment it is raised in WorldTracer or your DCS. HalaBag runs the case to the passenger's hands with allocation, custody, communication, proof, SLA and cost on one record.
Show moreWhere HalaBag sits
Your airline, airport, handler and tracing systems already know when a bag has gone wrong. What they do not do is run the resolution: choose the provider, hold the chain of custody, talk to the passenger, prove delivery, measure the SLA and settle the money. That is the layer HalaBag adds.

Receives the case
From WorldTracer, your DCS, a handler desk, a lost-property counter or a partner API. One intake, every source.
Runs the workflow
Station rules, cut-offs, screening and hand-off steps configured per airline, per station, per product.
Allocates across providers
The right handler or 3PL for the case, chosen on coverage, cost and measured performance, not on habit.
Holds custody and proof
Every hand-off confirmed, every delivery evidenced, every passenger message logged.
Governs the SLA
Contract terms and service levels monitored against actual performance, per provider and per station.
Closes the cost
Provider cost, airline charge and passenger fee reconciled and invoiced from the same record.
HalaBag does not replace WorldTracer, your DCS or your baggage handling system. It connects to them and takes the case from there.
Built for the organisations that own the baggage problem
Each segment has its own economics. Choose yours to see the problem statement, the proof and the model that applies.
Airlines

One platform, four capabilities
Orchestration, provider network, passenger experience and financial closure, on one record per case.
Orchestration
Case intake, workflow, allocation, exception handling and chain of custody across stations and providers.
Provider network
Handlers, 3PLs and baggage operators integrated once and served many times, with SLA scorecards per provider.
Passenger experience
Status, consent, address confirmation and proof of delivery in the passenger's language, under your brand.
Financial closure
Cost capture, invoicing and reconciliation for every case, on both sides of the transaction.
Proven with Saudi carriers at national scale
HalaBag is the technical partner for Hajj-without-a-bag initiatives, working with Saudia and flynas, and runs lost item and mishandled baggage operations across seven airports. The figures below are the ones we can stand behind, counted on one stated basis.
Counting basis. Counting basis: each bag is counted once per journey leg it is handled on. Inbound and outbound legs are counted separately and stated as such; a round trip is two bags. The same basis is used on every page of this site.
Repeatable, not seasonal
Year-round volume
Beyond the Hajj season, HalaBag runs lost item and mishandled baggage operations every day of the year across seven airports: the same platform, the same providers, the same SLA governance.
Multi-station deployment
Seven airports run at once, each with its own rules, cut-offs and providers. Adding a station is configuration, not a project.
Standard implementation model
Tenant, stations, source-system connection, providers, go-live checks: the same sequence for every deployment, so the second airline costs a fraction of the first.
Integrate once, serve many
Each provider is integrated once and made available to every tenant on the platform. Each new customer starts with the network already in place.

What mishandled baggage costs a 37-million-passenger carrier: a derivation from published figures
Applying SITA's published rates to a carrier of 37 million passengers gives 180,000 to 225,000 mishandled bags a year and US$47 million to US$62 million of cost. We show the arithmetic so it can be checked, and why the internally popular figures of 2 to 3% and 8 million bags cannot be right.

Mishandling is at a record low. The cost of each bag is at a record high.
SITA's 2026 figures show 4.9 mishandled bags per 1,000 passengers, down 23% in a year, and US$260 per bag. The layer where the money now sits is recovery, rerouting and delivery, and it is the least governed part of the operation.

Airports earn on every bag. That is why off-airport acceptance is a revenue decision, not a cost one.
Published tariffs charge per departing bag and per tonne of cargo. When a terminal runs above design capacity, off-airport acceptance is the difference between capped and uncapped revenue. The regulatory path for it already exists.
