Home check-in

Home check-in sold inside your booking flow, fulfilled by licensed providers within airport and regulator rules, and settled on the same platform. HalaBag runs the order from sale to acceptance: consent, collection window, screening, cut-off, custody, DCS acceptance and revenue.

The passenger's bag is checked in before they leave home

Your passenger books it, our network collects the bag from their door, it is screened and accepted as a checked bag in your system, and it meets them at the belt. HalaBag is your technology for selling it, running it and getting paid for it.

How it works with your airline

Where the case starts, where HalaBag sits, and what your team sees.

  1. Passenger books in your flow1
  2. Order into HalaBag2
  3. Provider allocated for the lane3
  4. Collected at the door, custody confirmed4
  5. Screened, accepted within cut-off5
  6. Checked bag in your DCS6

The problem

Airlines want to sell home check-in and airports want bags to arrive sequenced. Without a platform it is a bespoke arrangement per station: a provider, a spreadsheet, a cut-off nobody enforces and a bag the airline cannot see until it reaches the hall.

How it works

  1. 1

Sell it where the passenger is

Quote and book through your booking flow, app or a partner platform via the Partner API. Price, cut-off and eligibility come from the platform.

  2. 2

    Collect with custody

The allocated provider collects at the address within the window; the hand-off is confirmed with time, location and evidence.

  3. 3

    Screen and accept

Screening steps and cut-offs are enforced as workflow, under the licensed provider and the airport's rules. Acceptance is confirmed back to your DCS.

  4. 4

    Settle

Passenger fee, provider cost and your share are closed on the order; invoices issued from the same record.
